To name Christ as King is to identify ourselves as dissenters to the claims of any other authority and to critique all power-mongering.

What difference does it make for us and in the world that The Word became flesh and made its dwelling among us?

God comes to us in unexpected ways, and the break with conventional religious respectability is even more earth-shattering than the break with conventional reproductive biology.
