The Reverend Marilyn Hope is an Anglican Distinctive Deacon in Melbourne known for her extensive work in pastoral care and contemplative life. She is a significant figure in pastoral education, having co-created and presented specially adapted Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) courses, including programs tailored for Orthodox Rabbis to integrate theology with spiritual care. She has served on the Advisory Council on Anglican Religious Life in Australia (ACARLA), representing clerical members alongside senior bishops. She is an Oblate of St Mark's Abbey and frequently speaks at historical societies and parishes on topics such as Benedictine communities and spirituality.
