Brooke Prentis is a prominent Wakka Wakka woman and Aboriginal Christian Leader who has dedicated her life to the pursuit of justice and reconciliation in Australia. She is a multidisciplinary leader, working as a theologian, international speaker, writer, poet, and community pastor. Brooke has held several high-profile roles, most notably serving as the CEO of Common Grace from February 2020 to early 2022, where she led a movement of people pursuing "Jesus and Justice". Beyond her theological work, she is a Chartered Accountant and an experienced company director. She serves as the coordinator for the Grasstree Gathering, a national network of over 200 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Christian leaders. Brooke is a frequent commentator on national programs like ABC’s The Drum and Soul Search, advocating for a "Reconciliation as friendship" approach, and she actively works on issues such as Closing the Gap, protecting Aboriginal sacred sites, and addressing racism within both the church and wider society.
