Geoff Leslie
The Revd Dr Geoff Leslie is now a regular participant in our congregation. Previously he served as a Baptist Union of Victoria regional minister and as pastor to several congregations in rural Victoria in cladding 19 years as pastor for the Barham-Koondrook congregation. Â Geoff's academic work has focussed on the pastoral and spiritual dimensions of ministry within rural contexts, and he gained recognition for supporting his community through the millennial drought and the collapse of the dairy industry. He founded the "Your Community Cares" organisation to build social cohesion and educate farmers on sustainable systems during severe water shortages. He lives in Warragul with his wife Debbie, and is a keen musician, language teacher, and bird watcher.
