God’s anger over injustice and hypocrisy is the hot passionate anger of a lover betrayed and aggrieved, an anger which craves reconciliation and rekindled love, not punishment.

God’s call to us is to be the embodiment of divine compassion.

Christ calls us to continue to grow in the measure of our love, prayer and good works.

God has ordained that the work of God should flow from a deep and abiding being with God, from a baptism in the love which holds all things together in Christ.

Our perception of things can be distorted by the context in which we see them. Jesus constantly challenges our misperceptions by challenging us to look at things through a different frame. It is only by constant reference to Jesus and to the ways that he looked at things that we learn to see ourselves and our surrounds more realistically.
