Lina Toth (Andronoviene)

The Rev Dr Lina Toth (formerly Andronovienė) is a Lithuanian-born theologian, author, and educator who currently serves as the International Director of Langham Scholars Programme at Langham Partnership, and Senior Research Fellow at the International Baptist Theological Study Centre, The Netherlands. A musician and artist as well as a theologian, she is particularly interested in ethics, spirituality, and theology of culture. Her second love is history—not so much dates but people and stories which have shaped the world we have today. Lina is Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and until recently was Editor of Theology in Scotland journal. She previously served as the Assistant Principal at the Scottish Baptist College. Based in Scotland, Lina is a prominent voice in practical theology, particularly known for her work on Christian ethics, spirituality, and the theology of singleness and marriage. She is the author of Singleness and Marriage after Christendom and Transforming the Struggles of Tamars: Single Women and Baptistic Communities. Beyond her academic work, Lina is a musician and artist. She frequently integrates these interests into her theology, focusing on how culture, history, and the arts shape spiritual formation. She also serves as a worship leader and has a deep interest in Baptist history and the lives of those often ignored in historical narratives, such as the medieval Beguines.
