Curtis W. Freeman

The Revd Dr Curtis W. Freeman is a distinguished Research Professor of Theology and Baptist Studies at Duke Divinity School, where he also serves as the Director of the Baptist House of Studies. An ordained Baptist minister, his work focuses on Free Church theology, religious dissent, and the intersection of ancient faith practices with contemporary life. Curtis serves as the editor of the American Baptist Quarterly, and as a member of the Baptist World Alliance Commission on Doctrine and Christian Unity, contributing to global theological dialogue. He is the author of several books that explore Baptist identity and Christian formation.
