Josh Dowton
Josh Dowton is the Executive Pastor at Northside Baptist Church in Crows Nest, Sydney. He is a prominent figure within the Open Baptists and the Baptist Association of NSW & ACT, particularly known for his advocacy on social justice, community engagement, and the prevention of domestic and family violence. Josh is deeply involved in community partnerships, including serving as the Chair of the Baptist Association NSW & ACT Standards Committee and contributing to the Safer Spaces Toolkit, which focuses on addressing domestic abuse in faith communities. He frequently contributes to platforms like Common Grace and Eternity News, speaking on issues such as climate change, coercive control, and Indigenous solidarity.
