Jim Barr
The Rev Jim Barr is a prominent Baptist minister from Melbourne, Australia, known for his long-standing ministry across several major congregations and his reputation as a "gifted storyteller". He most recently served as the minister of Box Hill Baptist Church, where he concluded his pastorate in 2023. Throughout his career, Jim has held several significant appointments within the Baptist and broader Christian community, uncluding the Melbourne Welsh Church, the Collins Street Baptist Church, the Rosanna Baptist Church, and the Canberra Baptist Church. Jim is recognised for his engagement with social and cultural issues through a theological lens. In 1996, he and fellow pastor Tim Costello presented "hypotheticals" to corporate executives to discuss the ethical "soul" of corporations.
