Jennifer Smith
The Revd Canon Dr Jennifer Smith is a prominent Methodist minister currently serving as the Superintendent Minister of Wesley's Chapel & Leysian Mission in London, opened by John Wesley in 1778. In 2018, Jennifer was installed as an Honorary Ecumenical Canon at St Paul's Cathedral, acting as a bridge between the Methodist and Anglican traditions. She is a regular contributor to the BBC's "Thought for the Day" on Radio 4. She holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Leicester (2001). She maintains strong ties with other denominations, exemplified by her marriage to Keith Riglin, the Bishop of Argyll and The Isles in the Scottish Episcopal Church.
