Elie Haddad
The Revd Dr Elie Haddad is a prominent Lebanese Baptist leader who recently concluded a 17-year tenure as President of the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Beirut, Lebanon. He officially transitioned out of the presidency in October 2025. Since retiring from ABTS, he has been leading the strategic planning process for Canadian Baptist Ministries, which is set for completion in May 2026. He has sensed a call to move beyond direct organisational partnerships to serve theological education across the broader Middle East and North Africa region. He remains an Assistant Professor of Missional Ecclesiology at Arab Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as a regional Vice-President of the Baptist World Alliance.
