Sunday Worship

This Sunday we are honoured to welcome the Rev Aksel Lund as our guest preacher, joining us live from his home in Stavanger, Norway. Aksel is an ordained minister in the Church of Norway, and is a Ph.D candidate at VID Specialized University. He specialises in liturgical theology and eco-theology.

Our worship service draws on rich traditions of Christian liturgy — shared texts, prayerful silence, listening to scripture, sacramental practice — expressed in a fresh Australian voice, and remaining open and accessible. We gather online in a highly participatory, live event, in which nearly every voice contributes. All welcome, regardless of age, race, religion, capability, sexual identity, or immigration status.

After the service, we spend time socialising in smaller groups, so plan to stay and get to know us.
