On the first Sunday of Advent we spend the day in prayer and reflection before our regular worship service.

Open Icon Baptist Church is an inclusive, contemplative congregation of dedicated Jesus-followers, weaving ancient and modern spiritual practices into warmly participatory online Sunday liturgical worship and daily prayer. Based in Melbourne, Australia, but now with members far and wide.

Open Icon Baptist Church acknowledges that we live on unceded Aboriginal lands, many of us on the lands of the Boonwurrung and Wurundjeri peoples. We express our gratitude at the sharing of this land; our sorrow for the personal, spiritual, and cultural cost of that sharing; and the hope that we may walk together in harmony in the spirit of reconciliation.
