App Privacy Policy – Cloud of Voices

Cloud of Voices is the mobile app for the Open Icon Baptist Church community. This policy explains what we collect and why. It is short because we do very little with your information.

What we collect

  • Account details you give us when you join, such as your name and email address.
  • Anything you choose to add to your profile, such as a photo or a description.
  • Content you post: posts, comments, photos, audio, video, and messages you send to other members.
  • Basic technical information needed to keep the app working, such as your device type and app version, and error reports if something goes wrong.

Device permissions

The app asks for these only when a feature needs them. You can refuse, and you can change your mind later in your device settings.

  • Camera and photo library: only when you choose to add a photo or video, or set an avatar or cover image.
  • Microphone: only when you choose to record audio or video.

How we use it

To run the community, and nothing else. We use your information to show your posts and profile to other members, deliver your messages, and send the notifications you have asked for.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your information.
  • We do not show advertising.
  • We do not use advertising or tracking analytics.

Who can see your information

Your profile and posts are visible to other signed in members of the community. Direct messages are visible only to the people in the conversation. Some content may be public on openicon.church if you post it in a public area.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings in the app, or by contacting us at. Deleting your account removes your profile and your personal details. We will also remove your posts and messages on request.

Children

The app is intended for people aged 13 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and change the date at the top.
